Cat Poetry

Each set of poems below were composed from one set of the magnetic poetry set for cats.

Set 1
black cat
brown ball
trick that toy into thinking it is safe
    prance
	pounce
	    purr
mice are more lively

do a chair dance
    on pillow feet
old grace coloring sleek stealth
sit
    wash
	sleep

crazy companion cat
    climbs friend
	chases light
pure night tiger
    feel his love

little white face
soft paw swat
warm wild wonderful
come see

gray hair face
   me
       her
no longer mysterious
life quietly stalks by
too beautiful to break

mischievous tabby nose
    I know you sense
	fish and milk
curious though not your prey
food for my dish
    leap up
    lick my bowl
    talk with tail

sweet stroke of kitty whisker
when I am sad
will always be a special gift
