30. Assess one or more of Paul Churchland’s arguments for his Eliminativism or would-be Eliminativism regarding the propositional attitudes. Is “folk psychology” as despicable as Churchland makes out? If not, how can it be exonerated?
31. What about Churchland’s replies to the objections he anticipates? Do they succeed? You might want to pay particular attention to the “self-refutation” or “cognitive suicide” objection stated on p. 611, for it is still very much with us.
