When I get the urge and the opportunity, I build some furniture or do some other woodworking. These are some examples. The coffee table project included three matching end tables. They’re all dyed deep red and finished with tung oil. The mahogany bench was made with leftovers from the coffee table project. I made the Arts & Crafts table just to see what that required; it’s probably the quickest project of any. The mini-bench was in fact my only bench for awhile -- although the table saw is a good stand-in for a working surface.
