Sorry, no longer available- I have rented the room.
I have an extra room available at Copper Mill Apartments for move-in immediately.
Bedroom specifics: Bedroom has walk in closet, two full length windows, and ceiling fan. Room shares a bath with one other room. Bath is spacious with very large mirror and lots of counter space. Bedroom isn't furnished, but I have an extra full size mattress that can be used for free, but it has no frame or box springs.
Rent is $310/mo. plus one third of utilities.
Apartment specifics: Big (1236 sq. ft) three bedroom/two bath
apartment on 54, ten minute drive from UNC campus. Complex is less than 10 years old. Five minute drive to FREE park and ride lot. (This apartment is not on the Chapel Hill Transit busline. I don't really recommend this apartment for someone without a car, unless you're okay with using the TTA busline for transportation.) Within walking distance of a grocery store and drug store. Must tolerate pets. However, if you want, we can keep my cats out of your bedroom rather easily-- by keeping the door shut =). If you have a pet of your own you'd like to bring, small animals and cats are both allowed (my cats ususally adapt very well to other cats). Sorry, no dogs.
See pictures!
Other amenities: cable internet (I have both wired and wireless internet installed in the apartment), cable
tv and digital cable, washer / dryer, big kitchen, dishwasher, all
appliances, fireplace, ceiling fans in bedrooms and living room, full
length windows, sheltered porch balcony, extra storage space, large living room with
vaulted ceiling; Complex has pool, jacuzzi, fitness center, fitness trail, business center, tennis courts, basketball
courts, etc., and unlimited free parking.
The apartment is a mirror image of this
floorplan.
No preference over male or female roommate. The only real "rules" are no smoking inside, pay your rent on time, and don't leave the door open or something where my cats can get out (that almost happened once!)- and for that matter, don't leave the door unlocked either. ;) Otherwise, so long as you're somewhat sane and responsible, there aren't really any other rules.
Please email or call me if you're interested (email is probably the fastest method of contacting me). You're welcome to come look at the apartment in person anytime, just call and we'll arrange a time at your convenience. Ask for Virginia if you call. vdozier@email.unc.edu or
