The Fam | The Boyz | And Now For Something Completely Different!

The Fam

These two gorgeous ladies are my mom (to the left) and my sister (to the right). This picture was taken at the beautifully kinetic Niagara Falls. It was one of the funnest family vacations I ever went on. Another great place to visit is the Adirondack Mountains , also located in New York. I have another beautiful sis, Tara, who resides in Crooklyn, New York with her newlywed husband Jose Manjarres. I don't get to see them as often as I would like and because I am so slack I don't even have a picture of Tara besides one that is circa 1988 and she would inflict much bodily harm to me if I were to put it on the net. So since I don't have a good picture of Tara my sister, here is one of Green Tara. Green Tara is a Tibeto-Mongolian Buddhist deity, a goddess of compassion, that has both benevolent and wrathful aspects( which I think is Tara, my sis, in a nutshell). As for my dad, he avoids pictures all together, he believes they capture your soul. My father and I have the same name, Stephen Glen Waits. He once told me though that he wanted my middle name to be Straightarrow. Yep, you guessed it, dad was a hippie. School keeps me rather busy and I don't get to go home as much as I'd like. Mom, Dad, Menta, Tara, Jose- I love you and I miss you much.

The Boyz
This fine piece of meat you see before you is the one the only SGWII. And remember ladies if you want to chat with me just send me an email or call me at (919) 918-4465. Well it's summertime and I'm living swell in Oak Terrace. The walk to campus gets a little old but it sure beats living in KT. I once was told that Hinton James, the first Carolina student, walked to UNC all the way from somewhere like Wilmington to attend this school. And he got a dorm named after him, I wonder if in twenty or so years they'll do the same for me? If they were to name a dorm after me I think I'd legally change my name to Festeringboilingfilledwithpusszit. Wouldn't you want to live there? The new crib is almost fully furnished with a fridge, microwave, 2 couches, futon, and two semi-gay roommates. I have been sleeping in Charles's loft of late and it kind of warms my heart to think that at any moment I could come crashing down on his head. Matty occupies the other bedroom. We let him stay because me and C like his sisters. Carrie, Ally, Terrence, and of course Mr. and Mrs. Sproul are such awesome people, makes you wonder where Matty came from. Senior year, so many changes, everybody is gone. Let's do a G.I. Joe rollcall of all the people we lost in the field this year.

SniprMac (aka- MacFerrin Falck) known for his substeves and his incredibly long heart felt messages about leaving the boyz. Noone drinks like you buddy. I'm waiting for our next non-impact camping trip.

Sonic (aka- Helmet, lawyer wannabe, No Dogs Go To Heaven, Ronald Bradley Balaban) known for his extremely bad taste in music, really cool family (Hey Balabans!), his swinging shoulders, and his propensity to be a great friend with a good ear. Miss you boy.

Eric (aka- AWOL, Eric Revell) known for his ability to pick up women by just sitting down in Lindas and for his layed back personality. Hope married life is treating you well Mr. Never-call-my-friends.

Kim (aka- Brad's betty) known for being the nicest girl on the face of the earth and the only person that sees the true merit in Reading Rainbow and Bill Nye. Take England by the horns Kim.

Benny (aka- BodyBen, fellow Tribean) known for his exhaustive chats on metaphysics while in the dark, his extensive sports knowledge (What is Sammy Sosa's waistline again?), and his humor on long road trips. Don't forget about my dog Benny.

Sheddy (aka- Mexico roomie, friend to everyone) known for being the guy everyone went to for advice, especially the girlz. Also for his incredible knack at sending postcards. Your a better man than me.

Tiago (aka- Mr. Determined, and T) known for having the room everyone at Craige wanted to be in, live in, play Mario Cart in. Hope Charlotte is treating you well and give my best to Sara.

J.R. (aka- "Yeah, he's the guy that put his penis on the pool table.") known for introducing me to almost every one of my friends at UNC, and for living in 415 with me and C. Also a very strong athlete, including frolf.

Paulard (aka- Bearhands, Linda's premier bouncer) known for getting in all the underage people of Craige, and being an all around awesome guy. Boston was one of my favorite trips Brian, and you made it possible.

Sumner (aka- the other Matt) known for his collection of swords, being a fellow video game enthusiast, and knowing how to marinate a steak to near perfection.

Go Joe! I tried to hit everybody but if you know me you know my memory, thats my story and I'm sticking to it. I think we need to do a repeat of the Kill Devil Hills trip. This time around I expect my friends to watch over me.
