• INLS 461: Information Tools

• An introductary course for library science students to more effectively utilize information products and services by understanding the functions and management of microcomputers, interacting with local and networked information collections, and preparing computer-based content.

  
  
• INLS 521: Organization of Information I

• An introduction to the organization of library materials that covers formal systems for description, access, and subject cataloging including AACR2, MARC, Dewey Decimal classification, Library of Congress Classification, and subject headings.

  
  
• INLS 513: Resource Selection and Evaluation

• An introductory course to identification, provision, and evaluation of resources to meet primary needs of clientele in different institutional environments. Basically, it is a course focused on collections building in a academic library.
