Aka kitsune udon are served cold, and you dip them into the sauce bowl shown at bottom left. This ixed meal teishoku came with some pickeled veggies and fried rice (rare i would say). All for 500 yen at the imperial palace!

Nope, just a Cafe du Monde in Osaka. Hailing from LA I had to stop in of course. Two beignets and a cup of cafe au lait for 300 yen. The beignets btw were not nearly as fattening or delicious as those from the real du Monde. Pretty good though for a 10,000 mi remote attempt.
