Dorms

City: Mozumi/Toyama This is the dormotory about 200m down from the office. This is where emma stayed when she came to japan. Its basically a typical hotel on the inside, but it has a great kitchen where they serve you traditional meals. I ate several of emma's. Some might wonder about the need for such a structure in the city of mozumi. I suspect it is there to house miners temporarily, and with the existence of the SuperKamiokande experiment in the same mine as KamLAND, it probably houses a lot of they personal while on shift. I think the SuperK collaboration is significantly larger that the KamLAND collaboration.

Heaven on a Tray	[ index| x000010 , 150831 ]
City: Osaka Probably my favorite meal from japan. Negitoro teishoku - chopped tuna (raw) fixed meal. The tuna was served on a bed of seaweed strips and rice, blanketing white rice. Side dishes included a small salad, some cold tofu and some warm udon noodles served in a french-onion miso soup. sooo delicious!
