From the 40th Reunion:

The Class of '61 held their 40th reunion the weekend of September 29, 2001.  Thanks to the superb organization of and the tons of hard work by Molly Williams Becker, Kathy Purvis Barrett, and Butch Welch, their families and friends, it was an outstanding weekend of fun, food, and memories for everyone. 

 Those who were there, I know, join me in congratulating and thanking them for planning that special occasion.  Those who were not - you missed a good one and you were missed.

Before we get to reunion pictures take a  look way back.  (If you were in the class at some time but did not graduate with it, be sure to take a look at this page.)  And now a look back to graduation day.
The Pit - Friday evening.  Informal gathering at the astonishingly unchanged Pit.* More pictures anyone?

Trip to Star Field Trek - Saturday afternoon.  Butch drove the town trolley on a class field trip to Star Field.  I think there was some walking involved but the ride just must have been the most exciting part.  Pictures by Barbara Westbrook Duffy.

Banquet - Saturday evening. Dinner at the Hoffman Lane Bistro,   a senior moment, and then on to Tim Feury's. Thanks again Barbara and someone else for the pictures.

Brunch with Butch and family - Sunday morning.  Barbara wasn't the only one with a camera but she was the one who sent pictures to me. Thank you Barbara.
