Class of 1961 Memory Book

Molly Williams Becker made a fabulous souvenir book for the 40th reunion.  Thanks to her organization and energy and the contributions of several classmates the book rekindles memories that span our school career.

Coopers Town Crier columnist Jim Atwell  wrote an enthusiastic column about it after he met Warren and Wayne Bunn poring over a copy at breakfast at Brooks' Country Kitchen in Hartwick a few months after the reunion.

Atwell  praises Molly's effort, "The work of Molly Becker (Williams), the book was really impressive. It's a lucky class that has a Molly to take on the hard job of gathering and editing such material, then sharing it in print. Molly did a splendid job. She covered the book with a photo of the old high school and filled it with photos and reproduced news clippings."

Read the whole Atwell column - Paging through the past.  The Town Crier loads slowly but it's worth the wait to read this column in its entirety.

It's an evocative essay even it you don't have a copy of the book in front of you.  Click the cover for a glimpse of the contents --
