Personal Statement:

I became a Tar Heel in the fall of 2003. The history of this campus and the people that I have met here- students, faculty and staff are simply amazing. I enjoy serving students in a number of ways: as a Learning Specialist, Clinical Instructor in the School of Education, Coordinator of our Peer Tutoring Program and now as an Academic Advisor in the Graduation Division. When I am not working, I run, bike, swim, kayak and enjoy spending time with my husband and three grown children. One of my special interests is NCAA reform. I recently won the Robert Maynard Hutchins Award from The Drake Group.
