Me
on Slew City Princess, after receiving 2nd place in Longleaf Pine Horse
Trials in 1998. She was the horse I was able to ride and train at Longleaf
Pine Farm. Some of my best days were spent working and riding there.

Great clearance!
Princess and I in the Show Jumping round of Fort Bragg Horse Trials.
Dressage (my least favorite phase), and cross-country (my favorite phase),
have been completed, now it's down to the wire.

What a cutie!
At Longleaf I was afforded the opportunity to learn the basics of driving
horses. Here I am with Chatterbox, a miniature horse. He may be small
and cute but he was really stubborn!

High school days
were great and the friends were even better. Brandy Barrett and I when
she came for a visit from Elon.

Greek anyone?
My friend Heather Stewart and I stopped for a quick pose before we dashed
off to a Toga party.

Halloween is a
blast in Chapel Hill, especially on Franklin Street! My friends, Katie
Pike as 'Refrigerator Magnets,' Heather Stewart as 'Zorro,' me as 'The
Midnight Sky' and Hilary Roscoe as a 'Gypsy.' We crowd in the hall of
I Love New York Pizza, a hotspot on Franklin for the night's festivities.

Just hanging around.
I have a wonderful group of friends, Jessica Dunevant, Hilary Roscoe,
Liz Davis, Kristin Cordell, me and Christine Quigley. My birthday seems
to fall during first semester exams and it's hard to celebrate, but
this year my friends made sure it was celebrated. A nice dinner at Grady's
and a night of 'girl talk.'

What a beauty!
Slew City Princess in great form over fences at Longleaf Pine Horse
Trials in 1999. Why else would we have finished so well?

Princess and I
after receiving 3rd place in Longleaf Pine Horse Trials in 1999. Isn't
she a beauty? I was able to work at Longleaf while in high school for
the amazing opportunity to ride and learn more about horses.

The brilliant
Boy Scout. My brother, Luke, with my Dad just before Luke's Eagle Scout
Award presentation. He worked very hard to put create a Japanese Garden
in the enclosed atrium of our church. I am so proud of him!
