I got a chance to visit the Rock and Roll Hall of
Fame and Museum Last year. There were so many great exhibits and cool
things to check out about some of the greatest musicians from this century.
Although the web site is well-done, it can't compare to actually being
there!
Just about everyone uses Google, so naturally it
is one on my favorite links. It really can find just about anything you
need on the Internet. If you need to find a person, place or thing, Google
is the way to go!
This is a link to The Jane Goodall Institute's Chimpanzee Central. Isn't he cute! Goodall works with chimps and conservation of their species. I really like chimps and enjoy reading about them and looking at these cute pictures of them. This photo is courtesy of www.janegoodall.org
Yahoo is another good search engine I like to use.
I usually switch off between Yahoo and Google. Yahoo also has e-mail services
and weather updates that you can easily check anywhere.
This is a link to the University's newspaper, The
Daily Tar Heel. Having a boyfriend and several other friends who work
at the paper, I try to check it out everyday. And if I can't get a copy
on campus, I know it will be there on the web! You can also check the
archives if you are looking for a story or photo from a past issue.
