Music: One
of my biggest passions in life is music. In high school, that was
what I was known for. I guess you could say I was an orchestra
nerd. I have played viola for 10 years and
throughout high school I was part of the Fayetteville Symphony,
Cumberland County Youth Orchestra, NC Eastern Regional High School
Orchestra, NC High School Honors Orchestra, Pine Forest HS Chamber
Group, and my church orchestra. Although I wouldn't take back any
of it, playing my viola took over my life and became another
stress. So, it was time for a break. This year is my
official year off. However, you cannot give up something you love
forever, so next year, I'll be back. Besides the viola, I'm
learning to play guitar and write songs. I also did 6 years of
youth choir at church, which was awesome.

High School
Interests: In
high school, I was still set on the plan of going into medicine. I was
a member
of HOSA (Health Occupational Students of America). I was the
Blood Drive Chairman and and recevied my CNA license (Certified Nursing
Assistant). As a CNA, I had the opportunity to work at the
Veterans Nursing Home. I was also vice-president of the National
Honor Society and a leader in Trojans for Christ.

Church/God/Missions:
This is
definitely the most important part of my life. My youth group at
Snyder was so awesome and I had so many opportunities with the church.
I was a member of the youth choir, puppet team, and interpretive
movement team within the youth group. I am now a part of Victory
Campus Ministries here at UNC and have grown so much and met so many
awesome brothers and sisters of Christ. I also
want to be involved in missions and are heading to Thailand this summer
for my first overseas mission trip.
Maybe someday I can open a schoolhouse in some 3rd world country or
something like
that. Life is full of surprises and I'm so excited to see what my life
is going to lead to.

Kids:
I
love kids so much, which is probably why I'm going to be a Kindergarten
teacher. Currently, I am working as a Teacher's Assistant
for 1 year olds at Frank Porter Child Development Institute all
week
long as part of the work study program. I love my job so much,
despite the crazy days.
