Our regular weekly Troop meetings are Wednesdays, from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. One meeting a month has a primary focus on Advancement, with younger boys working on requirements up to First Class, and older boys working on merit badges. During the summer, meetings are exclusively for work on merit badges.
In addition, there are once monthly meetings for the Patrol Leader's Council (6:00 to 7:00 pm on the first Wednesday of the month, just before the Troop meeting), Troop Committee (7:00 pm on the third Monday of the month), and Parents (7:00 pm during the Troop meeting on the third Wednesday of the month). This sequence of meetings is arranged to support boy leadership of the Troop. The boys make program decisions at the PLC, the Troop Committee arranges necessary support, and the results are communicated to the families.
