Dr. Li's research interest is in statistical genetics. The current research in Li's group focuses on the development and application of statistical methods and computational tools for the understanding human genetic variation, with a particular focus on complex human diseases and traits.
Our most recent research areas are in: (1) SNP and genotype calling from next generation sequencing data; (2) the design of sequencing-based genetic studies for complex traits; (3) imputation in admixed populations and with larger reference panels; (4) the analysis of rare variants; (5) joint SNP and CNV calling from next generation data.
The Li Group is actively recruiting talented people to join us. Please see Job Postings for more details.
