Day in the life: Whiskey the therapy dog

Whiskey is a Pet Partners-certified therapy dog and official volunteer at UNC Hospitals and on UNC-Chapel Hill's campus during student reading and exam days

From the moment Whiskey’s paws hit the pavement on Carolina’s campus, she is ready to work — and play. She is a certified therapy dog and official volunteer at UNC Hospitals and on campus during student reading and exam days.

Whiskey’s owner/handler, Silvia Kreda, describes Whiskey’s therapy visits as true work experiences in which she is completely in tune with the emotions of the patients and students.

Learn more about Whiskey and the incredible schedule she maintains in order to be a certified therapy dog. Here we document Whiskey’s day visiting the Park Library during exam week.
