Dear Tar Heel, ‘You did it!’
As Commencement approaches for our winter graduates, eight graduating students read heartfelt letters from their parents congratulating them on this tremendous accomplishment.
On Sunday, Dec. 16, 2018, more than 2,300 students will gather in the Dean E. Smith Center to graduate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Behind each student’s unique path to graduation stands a strong support network of friends and family.
In advance of the commencement ceremony, a few Carolina parents took the time to write letters to their children graduating in the class of 2018. Danielle Huester, Christopher Granados, McKenna Brennan, and Logan Miller took the time to read those letters on camera.
