Lawrence Wilkerson (former Chief of Staff to Colin Powell); Ruth Ben-Ghiat (professor/commentator, author of “Strongmen”); Tim Naftali (professor and CNN historian). Introduced and moderated by Klaus Larres (UNC-CH).The Krasno Global Event Series will host a special online panel on Jan. 14 at 5:30 p.m. titled “Defending Democracy: The Global Rise of Autocracy in the U.S., Europe & Elsewhere.”

Col. Lawrence Wilkerson, former Chief of Staff to Secretary of State Colin Powell, Ruth Ben-Ghiat, New York University professor and CNN commentator, and Tim Naftali, professor and CNN presidential historian, will be among the panelists.
