Doctoral Hooding Ceremony

The Doctoral Hooding Ceremony recognizes graduate students receiving their doctoral degrees and is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. May 9 at the Dean E. Smith Center, 300 Bowles Drive. Each participating doctoral graduate will be called to the stage to have the hood of the commencement regalia conferred by their adviser or dissertation committee chair. The Graduate School will also present the Faculty Awards for Excellence in Doctoral Mentoring. Family and friends, as well as the public, are invited to attend.
