Graduate School Orientation

The Bell Tower.

To help you prepare for your graduate studies here at Carolina, we’d like to invite you to view our Virtual Orientation website. The website already has important resources that will assist with your transition to Carolina, including:

  • C.H.A.R.T. RESOURCES: This is a framework for how to approach your graduate studies and make use of the wide array of campus and community resources available to you as soon as you set foot on campus. We’re here to support you in your academic, personal, and professional growth, so please take advantage of what the campus and community have to offer. Start by clicking through the links applicable to your needs and interests.
  • ORIENTATION MODULES: Make sure to review these modules before the semester begins so that you can submit any additional questions you have beyond the basics.

Additional resources will be added to the Orientation website on August 3, including welcome statements from campus leaders, a panel discussion of graduate student leaders who will answer questions about the “graduate student experience” at Carolina, and information about campus services, events, and resources.
