27th Annual MURAP Conference: Justice and Trans-Formation

Books on a display table at a cconference.
The Moore Undergraduate Research Apprentice Program (MURAP) would like to invite you to our annual academic conference, titled ‘Justice and Trans-formation’; reflecting the unprecedented historical moment facing society. In the midst of two global pandemics, COVID-19 and systemic racism, MURAP is endeavoring to continue these conversations virtually, engaging with our 2021 student cohort, staff, faculty mentors, alumni, and invited guests. The topics we shall cover under this year’s theme include Covid-19 and its impact on minority communities; reparation; diversity, equity, and inclusion; and gender and sexuality studies.

The event will occur via Zoom Webinar over 3 days, July 22th, 23th & 26th. You will be registered for all three days and receive zoom links for each day at 8:00am EST. *NOTE that the conference times on July 22 are 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; on July 22 11 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. and on July 26 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
