DO or DIE: Affect, Ritual, Resistance features the work of visual artist Fahamu Pecou, who elevates and recontextualizes Black life and death to inspire hope, healing, and a sense of justice. The exhibition seeks to reframe the political and societal violence against Black bodies in America by incorporating imagery from African-based spiritual traditions. This exhibition will be on display in the Robert and Sallie Brown Gallery and Museum from Sept. 19 through Nov. 21.
