UNC Visitors Center tours

Come visit Carolina’s dynamic campus. Whether you’re interested in prospective undergraduate tours – provided by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions – or you would just like to get to know Carolina better, you are invited to walk our storied brick paths between our stone walls. The UNC Visitors Center offers Sense of Place tours at 11 a.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 2 p.m Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Registration is required prior to tours. To register for a tour, complete the scheduling form or contact the uncvisitorscenter@unc.edu. Tours are not held during the weekend, holidays or campus closures. For questions about tour availability, call 919-962-1630.

    Bayard Wootten was a single mother in 1904 when she borrowed a camera and started taking and selling pictures to support her family. By the end of her life, she had made more than a million images and had gained a reputation as a true pioneer. Her work is featured in this exhibition March 27 - November 4, 2018.     Interdisciplinary Miami-based artist Fereshteh Toosi designs contemplative, sensory outdoor experiences as part of her ongoing project, Nature Connection Arts Lab. Fereshteh brings her work indoors to the Allcott Gallery with a plant listening lounge, guided meditations, graphic scores, and video diaries documenting her walking research.
