“We’ve Asked You for a Gold Medal!” Kokichi Tsuburaya and Reshaping the Military Image Through Sport

Join Jake Sherman, a senior majoring in history and double minoring in Japanese and political science, as he presents research from his honors thesis. Jake studied abroad in Japan in summer 2018 as a Phillips Ambassador on the UNC Summer in Japan language intensive program. He returned to Japan in spring 2019 to study at Keio University. Jake’s presentation is co-sponsored by the Carolina Asia Center as part of our Tea and Talk series. Light refreshments will be served. RSVP to cac@unc.edu.
