Most famously adapted by Carolina’s own Paul Green, Richard Wright’s seminal novel of the African-American psyche is ready to capture the hearts and minds of another generation with Nambi E. Kelley’s heart-stopping and theatrical new adaptation.
Using a science fiction narrative, participants will first explore what is science and what is its societal impact. From there, the course will build on science strengths and weaknesses for societal problem-solving. Participants will also discuss fake science and how to authenticate knowledge, with an aim to inspire those who have no education in the sciences.
