The University Office of Diversity and Inclusion will host the next Carolina Conversations session on March 21 at 4 p.m. in the Student Union’s Aquarium Lounge. This month’s event will provide an inclusive and interactive dialogue about sexual harassment in the workplace.

Carolina Conversations is a University effort to engage students, faculty and staff in dialogue around issues of equity and inclusion related to race, intellectual diversity, religion, identity and culture.

The upcoming session will explore types of conduct that could be considered harassment and how to navigate and address potential harassment. It will also discuss the power dynamics that often allow harassing behavior to escalate or persist, as well as steps that can be taken to foster an environment in which harassment is not tolerated.

Brandon Washington, director of Carolina’s Equal Opportunity and Compliance Office, and Adrienne Allison, director of Title IX compliance, will lead the conversation.

All students, faculty, and staff are invited to attend. Audience participation will be strongly encouraged.
