April 28 is National Superhero Day, and we couldn’t think of a more fitting day to celebrate the superheroes at Carolina and UNC Health who are working furiously and bravely during the COVID-19 pandemic.

These superheroes include:

  • the health care workers treating patients from across our state
  • the researchers who are working to find a treatment, mitigate the spread of the disease and guide the public on living through this difficult time
  • the essential workers on campus and around Chapel Hill who are keeping Carolina operating and safe
  • the Carolina faculty and staff who have helped our students and each other through this historic semester

To join us in showing appreciation to these superheroes, please wear Carolina blue on Tuesday, April 28. Snap a photo, post it on social media using #CarolinaHeroes and tell us why you are grateful for our Carolina superheroes.
