Dear Carolina Community,

We’re getting close to the start of the fall semester, and we recognize that many of you have decided not to return to campus and will be learning, teaching and working remotely. We are committed to keeping you engaged with our campus community during this fall semester.

For those Tar Heels choosing to return to campus, this is not going to be a typical Carolina semester, and our campus will look and feel a lot different this fall. We continue to be guided by our world-class public health and infectious disease faculty experts. Every member of our campus community is expected to adhere to the Community Standards to create a safe campus environment.

Take a moment to watch today’s video to see a newly configured classroom that allows for physical distancing and to learn more about the Board of Trustees’ historic decision to remove four names from campus buildings.

Go Heels!
