This week is State Employee Recognition Week, and I want to thank our outstanding faculty and staff for the exceptional work you do for our University. You devote incredible amounts of time to the University and show care and dedication in all you do. I am so grateful for your commitment to our mission of teaching, research and service.
You make UNC-Chapel Hill not only a leader in higher education but also an example of excellence to our students, our community and our world. Please take a moment to watch this video thanking you for your service.
To celebrate State Employee Appreciation Day, we are inviting Carolina faculty and staff to wear Carolina Blue this Wednesday, May 10 to honor the contributions you and your colleagues make every day.
Employees who post a photo of themselves wearing Carolina Blue and tag the Office of Human Resources (@unc_hr) on Instagram will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win tickets for Carolina football and Carolina Performing Arts.
