The Savannah Bananas are heading to Kenan Stadium.

The barnstorming baseball team announced Oct. 9 it will play two games against the Texas Tailgaters, April 11-12, 2026, at UNC-Chapel Hill’s football home as part of its 2026 Banana Ball World Tour.

This will mark the Bananas’ first appearance in Kenan Stadium, which has hosted international soccer games the past three summers.

“We’re thrilled to welcome the world-famous Savannah Bananas to Chapel Hill,” said Rick Barakat, Carolina’s deputy athletic director. “Combining the Bananas’ innovation and excitement with the storied tradition of Kenan Stadium will create an unforgettable experience for fans across the state and beyond. The Bananas have redefined fan engagement in sports, and we can’t wait to see them take the field on campus at UNC this spring.”

Fans must join the ticket lottery list by Oct. 31 to have the opportunity to purchase tickets.
