Dental students give kids a smile

UNC Adams School of Dentistry scholars provided free dental care and fun to local children on Feb. 6.

The UNC Adams School of Dentistry hosted its 12th annual Give Kids a Smile Day on Friday, Feb. 6, 2026. This student-led event is part of Give Kids a Smile, a national initiative launched by the American Dental Association to provide free dental care, education and resources to children. The day included dental exams, preventive care and fun educational activities.
