With the new school year underway, we’re talking with Carolina’s Student Body President Bradley Opere.

Born and raised in Kenya, Opere was first thrown into a leadership role as a high schooler in an effort to keep peace at his boarding school where students were staging strikes, and then honed his skills at the prestigious African Leadership Academy in South Africa. Now, a senior business administration student at the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, Opere takes on the new role of student body president.
