Local/Remote switch.

In the "Local" or up position the front panel "Velocity" adjustment dial controls the stimulus velocity.

In "Remote" or down position, the velocity is controlled by the velocity command (analog voltage) on pin 1 of the 15 pin connector ( J2-1)

 

Test/Normal switch.

In the "Test" or up position, the "Slew" velocity is controlled by the velocity dial or the velocity command depending on the setting of the "Local/Remote" switch.

In the "Normal" or down position, the "Slew" velocity is set by the "Slew Speed Adjustment" recessed trimmer potentiometer.

 

Go Left & Go Right push buttons.

These push buttons are always active, in both local and remote modes. The computer commands to go right or left are accomplished through reed relays connected in parallel with the switches.
