welcome to our community

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is committed to nurturing positive relationships with
the local community. Our goal is to promote open communication and dialogue and foster understanding about the University, its mission and the needs and interests of our neighbors.

We at the University take seriously our responsibility to be a good steward in our local community while also striving to serve the state and North Carolinians well.

This new Web resource links our local community with important information about the University and campus resources.

On Thursday, November 29 a community meeting will be held to present preliminary sketches of the design for the Carolina Innovation Center on the Carolina North property. This meeting will be held at the Robert and Pearl Seymour Center at 2551 Homestead Road from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Representatives from the University and Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Inc will be in attendance.
