JOMC
50
has one overarching goal: To introduce students to a rapidly
changing information environment and to essential electronic
information sources (Library catalogs, academic databases, government
resources, Internet, CD-ROM, commercial databases such as Lexis
Nexis, World Wide Web and others) useful for all sequences in
the School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
Electronic Information Sources is a core three-credit course
required of all journalism and mass communication majors.
