A 2024 graduate tells his 2020 self what’s to come

In July 2020, during the height of the pandemic, incoming Carolina first-year student Luis Sanchez held an optimistic outlook on the years as a Tar Heel that awaited him.
“This year might not be exactly what we envisioned, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be great, Sanchez said at the time. “And that doesn’t mean that the next three years after that won’t be even better.”
In this video, the Raleigh native, Morehead-Cain Scholar, computer science major and 2024 graduate looks back on his time at Carolina by offering up advice and experience to his 2020 self, noting that much of his optimistic tone four years ago became a reality.
