The Class of 2027 moves into campus

For the past few days, thousands of Carolina students and their families have hauled boxes and lugged suitcases across campus to their new home-away-from home.
As the students set up their rooms in their residence halls, we asked a few to talk about the upcoming school year and what they were looking forward to in Chapel Hill.
“I’m a Tar Heel!” said Isabella Garcia, a first-year student from Cherokee, N.C. “I’m just so excited to be here, learn more and just become a better person just by being here.”
