Aerotropolis: A world-changing idea
Kenan Institute Director John D. Kasarda releases his new book, offering an eye-opening look at a new phenomenon, the aerotropolis, and a glimpse at the way we will live - and do business - in the near future.
An “aerotropolis” is what John D. Kasarda calls a city built around an airport instead of the other way around.
Kasarda is director of the Kenan Institute at UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School.
In a nod to his years of research on this futuristic concept, Time magazine just named the “aerotropolis” one of its “10 ideas that will change the world.”
