Carolina celebrates Latinx Heritage Month

The celebration will feature artist meet and greets, dinners, open houses and receptions hosted by various campus groups.

Latinx Heritage Month at UNC-Chapel Hill

Led by the Carolina Latinx Collaborative and the University Office of Diversity and Inclusion, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is celebrating Latinx Heritage Month from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15.

Latinx Heritage Month commemorates the contributions made by Latina/o Americans to the United States and celebrates Latinx heritage and culture. Carolina’s celebration will feature artist meet and greets, dinners, open houses and receptions hosted by various campus groups.

Speaker Edgardo Miranda-Rodriguez will headline the month of activities at the Colloquium and Conversation on Sept. 28 at 5 p.m. at Hanes Art Center Auditorium. Miranda-Rodriguez is an artist, graphic designer and writer at Marvel Entertainment.
