Across campus to the far reaches of the globe, the spirit of Carolina resonates on GiveUNC. It’s a day where alumni, students, parents, faculty and friends unite, driven by a shared passion for our beloved university.

Discover your cause, unlock challenges and join the fun

GiveUNC isn’t just a day to give; it’s an opportunity to find your cause and cheer on Tar Heels everywhere. With a diverse array of initiatives spanning the arts, sciences, student aid and more, there’s something for everyone to support. From the Center for Galapagos Studies to scholarships and student aid, your contribution matters.

The impact of your generosity multiplies through challenge gifts generously provided by alumni and friends. Last year, we witnessed $5.6 million in challenge revenue, driving transformative change across campus. This year, join us in unlocking challengesthat amplify your impact to many of the causes supported by GiveUNC.

Everyone can participate in GiveUNC virtually. You’re also invited to join us in person at the Bell Tower between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on March 26 for student performances, games and the opportunity to earn free snacks and swag.

Tar Heels thrive on competition, and GiveUNC is no exception. Whether you’re vying to turn your home state Carolina blue or aiming to top the leaderboards, the camaraderie is electric. Last year, $11.4 million flooded in, amplifying the impact of every gift, big or small. Your $5 or $25 contribution can pave the way for a student’s educational journey or provide vital resources for inclusive programs like Project Uplift.

As the buzz around GiveUNC grows, so does our collective impact. With your help, we can surpass previous milestones and create lasting change for Carolina and beyond. Share your love for the University on social media, don your Rameses cut-out, and inspire others to join the celebration.

Seniors and parents of seniors, UNConditionally Carolina ’24 invites you to leave your mark with a gift of $20.24 or more by April 19. Your senior gift enriches the Carolina experience for future generations, and you’ll receive a commemorative Class of 2024 pin to sport at graduation. Make your senior gift by 2 p.m. March 26, and you can pick up your pin at the GiveUNC tent at the Bell Tower between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
