UNC-Chapel Hill community members won’t have to go far to stay protected against COVID-19.

Students, postdoctoral fellows, faculty and staff can all receive the updated COVID-19 vaccine on campus. The vaccine, which is designed to match the changing nature of the virus, is recommended for everyone older than 6 months.

On-campus, walk-in vaccines

COVID-19 vaccines are available and provided on a walk-in basis to students, postdocs, faculty and staff on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at Student Stores Pharmacy and Campus Health Pharmacy.

Appointments for vaccines

Students and postdocs can also book an appointment at the Campus Health Immunization Clinic to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. These appointments can be scheduled online or by phone (919-966-2281).

Reminders

Flu vaccinations are also available on a walk-in basis at Campus Health Pharmacy and Student Stores Pharmacy. Vaccines will be billed to the recipient’s insurance, so bring your insurance card with you. Medicare plans are not accepted. Most insurance plans cover flu and COVID-19 vaccinations with a $0 copay. If you are concerned about paying for your vaccine, search vaccines.gov for locations that may provide free vaccines.
