You did it! While Winter Commencement celebrations on campus have been postponed, your achievements and dedication are worth celebrating. After years of hard work, late nights and a lot of determination, you are now Carolina alumni.
As you close out your Carolina careers, we want to thank you for leaving your heelprint on your campus and wish you luck on your next chapter.
Our graduates have excelled in the classroom, conducted research, founded organizations, served the state of North Carolina and left their heelprint on Carolina. Now they’ll become leaders in their fields and their communities. They are ready to take on the biggest issues in the state, country and world.
Though Winter Commencement was postponed due to COVID-19, our hope is to hold a commencement next spring, which includes our spring 2020 and winter 2020 graduates, in addition to our planned spring 2021 graduates. We apologize for the disappointment and frustration that the postponement of our 2020 commencements have caused our graduates this year. We remain optimistic that a successful spring term can help open a safe path to celebrate all of our graduates.
