Kenan Memorial Stadium

Kenan Memorial Stadium is the home of Carolina’s football team. Built in 1927, the stadium has undergone a series of renovations, expansions and upgrades over the years. Set back from Stadium Drive among the Carolina pines, the 60,000-seat Kenan Stadium is one of the most beautiful football facilities in the country.

The Charlie Justice Hall of Honor is a multimedia history of Carolina football located on the ground floor. The 20,000-square-foot Kenan Fieldhouse can be found at the east end of the stadium. The Fieldhouse houses the Student-Athlete Development Center with a language lab, video room, computer lab, theatre-style lecture hall, several reading rooms and numerous tutorial rooms. The Spring Commencement ceremony fills the stadium with Carolina blue robes each May.
