Stadium Drive will close to through traffic March 11-15

The closure is for completion of road repairs and other construction for the Central Campus Athletics Project.

A portion of Stadium Drive will be closed to through traffic between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. from March 11 to March 15 for completion of road repairs and other construction for the Central Campus Athletics Project.

Please drive with caution and follow detour signs during project work hours. Pedestrians should remain alert to construction activity in the area and follow designated pedestrian routes. Visit the Facilities Services website for detour maps and project impacts.

Chapel Hill Transit will implement detours on the A, NU and U routes beginning March 11. Bus stops for these routes on Stadium Drive and on South Road at Student Stores and Fetzer Gym will not be served. Visit Chapel Hill Transit for information on alternative stops and route detours.

S4 permit parking will continue to be available on Stadium Drive and can be accessed from the South Road and Ridge Road entrances. Overflow parking for S4 permit holders will be available in the Rams Head Parking Deck on Ridge Road.
